Egerton Journal of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education is a refereed periodical published once a year, in September, by Egerton University. The ideas contained in the papers reflect the opinion of the authors and not necessarily those of Egerton University or the Editorial Board of the journal.

As an editorial policy, original and unpublished papers in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Education or other disciplines which advance university teaching or otherwise stimulate intellectual life, the economic and cultural development of Africa and the world, or any other related material will be considered for publication.
